A lesson in tuck-tucks

1. Tuck Tuck drivers don`t know where anything is. So bring a map, preferably with Thai translation of road names. Although, we came across a driver who said he can`t read Thai.
2. Always bargain the price. Go as low as possible, you both end up meeting each other half-way anyway.
3. Write the price down and show the driver. Get a nod. Sidenote: our first tuck tuck driver charged us 150 Baat instead of our original agreement of 50 Baat: lesson learnt.
4. When it`s hot, tuck tuck about. Otherwise, you`ll be caked in sweat.
5. Just get a metered taxi. These are half the fun but half the price, and also come with air-con.
